UK Plastic Surgeons

After completing a five year medical degree, aspiring doctors embark on a two year foundation program, gaining experience in both hospital and general practice settings. Following this foundational phase, they enter two years core surgical training and subsequently apply for the plastic surgery program. This involves six years of training, culminating in a comprehensive examination. Successful completion of this exam awards them a Fellowship in Plastic Surgery – FRCS (Plast), officially qualifying them as Consultant Plastic Surgeons.

All Consultant Plastic Surgeons in the UK are registered with the General Medical Council (GMC) on the specialist register. At CSA, we maintain the highest standards for our cosmetic surgery directory. We ensure that all UK Consultant Plastic Surgeons featured in our directory are not only registered on the specialist register with the GMC but also meet our rigorous additional criteria.
