I’m Annabelle, the founder of Cosmetic Surgery Advancements (CSA).
I started this site after going through multiple cosmetic procedures myself and realizing how easy it is to get misled by star ratings, reviews, and before-and-after photos. When I found out my breast implants had been pulled from the global market in 2019, I knew I had to create a resource women could trust—especially when it comes to BIA-ALCL and making informed decisions about cosmetic surgery.
What began as a personal blog quickly turned into something more. Women started reaching out, asking for advice on finding qualified plastic surgeons for implant removal and replacement. That’s when I decided to take it a step further and launch CSA’s Verified Surgeon Directory in January 2020, to provide an online source, where you can find trusted, experienced surgeons without all the guesswork.
After three breast augmentation surgeries, rhinoplasty, and liposculpture, I finally found the confidence to embrace my true self. I know first hand that cosmetic surgery isn’t just about changing how you look, it’s about feeling good in your own skin and living life on your terms.
